Description
Who hasn't accumulated a whole fleet of small, colorful Benchys over time with a growing filament arsenal, that don't really know where they're supposed to go? 🛥️
My Benchys were standing around rather chaotically for a long time – and I was never really satisfied with the available display solutions. So I developed my own, shelf-compatible and modular solution:
👉 The Benchy Pedestal!
The pedestal is modularly designed at a 90° angle and can be flexibly combined:
- 1× Pedestal → perfect for an inner corner
- 2× Pedestals → ideal for a straight wall
- 3× Pedestals → optimal for an outer corner
- 4× Pedestals → …Benchy madness!
Versions
- Version 1 (modular, multi-part):
Designed for smaller printers (e.g., Mini). The parts are assembled after printing.
If all parameters are correct, no gluing is necessary – it held perfectly for me. - Version 2 (single-piece):
For larger printers. Some support structure is needed for this, and the effect surface of the platforms is omitted – in return, you get a sturdy single-piece pedestal.
