🧽 Minimalist Magnetic Sponge Holder – Design & Ergonomics
Optimize your kitchen space with this magnetic sponge holder featuring a sleek look. I designed this object to be aesthetic, practical, and durable.
Why this design?
Most stainless steel sinks are not magnetic. To overcome this, this model uses a magnetic "sandwich" system with 8 magnets 🧲 for ultra-stable attachment.
- 📐 Ergonomic tilt: The angle is designed to allow you to grab and put down the sponge with a natural and quick movement.
- ⚙️ Sawtooth texture: This geometric relief adds a unique design touch while cleverly concealing water or limescale marks.
- 💧 Hygiene & Drying: Micro-perforations at the base ensure water drainage for a sponge that stays clean longer.
- 💪 Reinforced structure: The model is designed to be printed on its side, which maximizes wall rigidity and ensures great longevity.
Technical Details:
- 🧲 Magnets: Designed for 8 Bambu Lab (10x3mm) magnets. 4 in the holder and 4 on the outside of the sink wall.
- 🛠️ Easy assembly: The slots are precisely adjusted, no glue needed! The magnets are press-fit.
- ⏱️ Print time: 3h 23m.
- 🧵 Filament: 83.47g (Perfect in PLA).
- 🚫 no supports: Optimized geometry for clean printing without material waste.
- 🖨️ Compatibility: Compatible with all printers, including the A1 mini.

💡 Installation Tip:
Clip 4 magnets into the holder. Place it in your sink, then position the other 4 magnets on the outer/hidden wall (under your cabinet) to create the attraction.
