Cable Hero - The Ultimate Print-in-Place Cable Reel ⚡

Say goodbye to tangled wires and messy desks. The Cable Hero is here to save your cable management game! This is a fully Print-in-Place design, meaning the rotating mechanism prints fully assembled. No screws, no glue, and no snapping parts together—just print and wind.

Designed specifically for USB-C cables, this reel comes in three sizes and five distinct textures to match your style.

📏 Sizing Guide:

Choose the right size based on your cable length and thickness.

Size	Dimension	Capacity / Cable Fit
Small	68 x 25 mm	Best for 3-4mm thick cables up to 1m length.
Medium	75 x 28 mm	Fits standard USB-C cables up to 1.5m length.
Large	81 x 30 mm	Fits long cables up to 1.7m. Accommodates USB-C and smaller USB connector heads.

🎨 5 Styles Available

I have included five different finishes so you can choose the grip and look that suits you best:

Waves: A flowing, organic texture.
Hex: A technical, geometric honeycomb look.
Knurled: High-grip texture, perfect for easy winding.
Ripples: A concentric water-drop effect.
Blank: Smooth and clean minimalist look.

⚙ How to Use

Insert: Push one end of your cable all the way through the center hole of the reel until the connector sticks out the other side.
Center: Position the reel roughly in the middle of the cable (or wherever you prefer).
Wind: Hold the outer ring and rotate the inner mechanism to wind the cable inside until you reach your desired length.

🖨 Print Settings

Supports: ⛔ NO SUPPORTS
Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS.
Infill: 15% - 20% usually works great.
Walls/Perimeters: 3 walls recommended for strength.
Brim: Use brim if you experince adhesion issues with outer ring
Clearance: This is a Print-in-Place design with tight tolerances. Ensure your printer is calibrated. If the mechanism is stiff right off the bed, give it a firm twist to "break" the internal adhesion, and it will spin freely.
