A Divine Emergency

It turns out, even the God of Love isn't immune to losing his wallet. With Valentine’s Day approaching, Cupid found himself in a serious crisis. He has a very active social calendar, dates lined up with wizards, witches, magical and human beings of every kind.

He knows that while true love is priceless, a romantic candlelight dinner and a bouquet of enchanted roses unfortunately cost a lot of gold.

The Commission 

In his desperation, he saw my previous PayWand design and reached out immediately. He begged me to forge a tool that could handle his contactless transactions with style.

I agreed to help him save Valentine's Day, but I had one condition: I wouldn't take payment. Instead, I demanded the right to release this design to the mortal realm for everyone to use.

⚗️ Alchemist’s Notes & Print Configurations

To ensure the highest success rate for your magical instrument, I have prepared two distinct print profiles. Since different materials shrink differently, I have calibrated the tolerances specifically for each element.

Choose your potion (Profile) wisely:

• 1. PLA Version (Recommended)
• 2. PETG Version
• ⚠️ The Silk Trap: While Silk filaments are shiny and "ooh-la-la" beautiful, beware: they are the most brittle. Choose them at your own peril.

Inside Each Profile: I have organized the plates to suit your crafting style 🎨. You will find multiple plates within a single profile:

• The "Monochrome" Plate: All parts on a single bed. Perfect for those who want a solid color wand or want to paint it manually.
• The "Grand Design" Plates (Separated Parts): The parts are separated onto different plates. This allows you to print the handle in one color (e.g., Wood/Gold) and the Heart Tip in another (e.g., Pink/Red) for the maximum "love-struck" effect without an AMS.

💡 Pro Tip: Handle Coloring

I have prepared the files so everyone can have a fancy two-tone handle, with or without an AMS unit.

• For AMS Users: Simply select the plate with the multicolor preview. The color changes are painted and ready to go for automatic swapping.
• For Manual Color Swap (No AMS): Look for the plate labeled "HandleNO AMS - added PAUSE". I have added a pre-set pause at the decorative ring layer.
  • To add color: When it pauses, unload filament -> Load new color (e.g., Gold) -> Resume.
  • To keep it one color: Just hit "Resume" immediately without changing anything.

🔩Assembly:

How to insert/remove the card?: Just like a healthy relationship, using this wand is now a partnership that requires two hands. Due to the extra grip of the Stabilizing Thingy™, you can't just force it. Treat it gently: Use one hand to hold the wand, and a finger from your other hand to gently pry the heart slot open just enough for the card to slide in. Love requires patience, not force.

    • Normal: Tested extensively with both PLA and PETG – works perfectly on well-calibrated machines.

    • Looser: A more forgiving version if your filament tends to swell or your printer needs more clearance.
