The model is very easy to print. For a particularly smooth, bone-like finish, I recommend the following settings:

• Top Surface (Important): Since the model is printed flat, I strongly recommend enabling the Ironing (Smoothing) function for the top layer. This removes the typical print lines and makes the fossil look much more realistic and high-quality.
• Material: PLA. (Tip: Bone white, beige or light gray look very authentic. Black looks very modern).
• Infill: 100 percent is recommended (for 3 mm thickness this ensures the best stability).
• Layer height: 0.20 mm standard.

• Stand assembly: Simply insert the skull into the slot of the stand. If it sits a little loose due to tolerances, a small drop of glue helps.
• Wall mounting: Use Tesa Powerstrips or thin mounting tape.
• Scaling: You can enlarge the model. If you scale it down, make sure that the fine bone structures do not become too thin (maintain a minimum thickness of 2 mm).
