Description
I’ve always been drawn to architecture and iconic landmarks, which is why I started creating bookmarks inspired by famous places from around the world.
Neuschwanstein Castle is located in Bavaria, Germany, high in the foothills of the Alps, overlooking forests, mountains, and lakes.
The castle was commissioned by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and was intended as a romantic retreat inspired by medieval legends and operas.
Construction began in 1869, and although the castle was never fully completed, it has become one of the most famous and photographed castles in the world.
Neuschwanstein is known for its fairytale appearance, dramatic towers, and picturesque setting, which inspired countless artists and even the famous Disney castle.
Today, the castle stands as a symbol of romanticism, imagination, and historic European architecture, attracting millions of visitors each year.
