Description
Ryu is the main protagonist of Capcom's Street Fighter series, debuting as a playable character in the original 1987 arcade game alongside his rival and best friend Ken Masters.
A stoic, humble, and well-mannered Japanese martial artist, he wanders the globe relentlessly training to achieve "true strength" by battling worthy opponents, while resisting the dark Satsui no Hado power.
conically dressed in a tattered white gi, red headband, and barefoot, Ryu stands about 5'9" tall and is known for signature moves like the Hadoken (energy projectile), Shoryuken (rising uppercut), and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku (spinning kick).
