✨ Decorative Letter with Engraved Name – Parametric OpenSCAD Model

This project is a fully parametric 3D decorative letter, ideal as a birth announcement sign, personalized decoration, or freestanding element.

The first letter of the name forms the solid base, while the name is engraved directly into the letter and can be printed separately as a solid element.
 

The model is designed to:

• ensure freestanding stability even with curved letters
• allow total customization (name, font, dimensions, engraving depth)
• print base and name as two part

⬇️ How to correctly download the models (VERY IMPORTANT)

The project must be exported as two separate STL files:

👉 one for the base

👉 one for the solid name

1️⃣ Download the BASE (with engraved name)

In customization, set:

mostra_base=true;
mostra_nome=false;

then click on Generate and then on Download.

2️⃣ Download the SOLID NAME

Modify the parameters as follows:
 

mostra_base=false;
mostra_nome=true;

then click on Generate and then on Download.

🖨️ Printing Tips

• Base: PLA / PETG – 0.2 mm layer – 10-15% infill
• Name: same material or different color for contrast effect
• No supports needed
• Recommended adhesive: cyanoacrylate
