Description

These are flexible terminal covers designed to protect battery poles from accidental contact and dirt. There are three different models included, each tailored for slightly different use cases depending on what is mounted to the terminals.

All covers are designed to be printed in TPU (or other flexible filament) without the need for supports, thanks to closed-over geometries and simple overhangs. The openings for cable exits are intentionally closed during printing to ensure better results, just cut them open with a knife or scissors at the marked positions shown in the image below.

The covers are designed to fit tightly around the terminals, but for secure installation, zip-ties are required. Mounting holes are integrated into the design to make fastening quick and easy. The flexible material provides insulation and impact protection, ideal for setups exposed to vibration, dust, or handling.

Originally designed for a Varta battery, with project specific attachments, as shown in the images below, but may fit other similar automotive or industrial batteries.
