Oversized Cup Holder Adapter – Large YETI Compatible

This oversized cup holder adapter was designed to solve a common problem: extra-large coffee cups that don’t fit standard vehicle cup holders. I originally created this for a coworker whose oversized YETI travel mug was simply too wide for any factory cup holder, so I designed a custom solution that fits securely without rattling.

The adapter drops directly into a standard vehicle cup holder and provides a wide, stable opening for large-diameter mugs. As a bonus, the inner diameter also fits a standard pop/soda/beer can snugly, so the cup holder remains useful even when the adapter is installed.

Printing Notes:

• Designed to be printed without supports
• Prints best with a slower speed on the overhang
• After several test prints, I found that reducing speed to about 60% on the overhang sections prevents stringing or “spaghetti”
• Overall print is straightforward and reliable once speeds are dialed in
  works with PLA

This model has gone through multiple iterations to balance strength, printability, and real-world usability in a vehicle environment.
