Finally, floor protectors that actually fit chairs with angled legs. Fully parametric - just measure your legs, adjust the settings, and print perfectly fitting protectors in one go.

What You Get

  • Perfect fit — internal cavity is tilted to match your chair leg angle exactly, so the protector sits flush on the floor instead of wobbling.
  • Two leg-end styles — choose whether your chair legs are cut perpendicular to the leg (typical for most assembled chairs) or horizontally / parallel to the floor (common on solid wood furniture). The inner shape adapts automatically.
  • Printability built in — an optional automatic step on the back wall keeps the rear overhang within a printable angle, so no supports are needed even for steep leg angles.
  • Full customization — leg width (10–50 mm), leg angle (20–90°), hole depth (10–60 mm), wall thickness, bottom thickness, fillet radius.
  • Your style — circular or rectangular base, round or square hole, rounded or sharp edges.
  • Batch printing — choose how many protectors (1–16) to lay out on the plate; they're auto-arranged in a centered grid.

Quick Start

  1. Measure leg width and angle (from horizontal)
  2. Open the .scad file in OpenSCAD (free download)
  3. Tweak the sliders to match your chair
  4. Hit render, export 3MF, print

Print Info

  • Material: TPU recommended (some use PLA, but no guarantee on durability or floor scratches)
  • Supports: None
  • Infill: 40%
  • Layer: 0.16mm

⚠️ Important: TPU must be completely dry before printing, as it absorbs moisture quickly from the air. Printing with damp TPU leads to stringing, weak layer adhesion, and poor print quality. Store your TPU in a dry box or use a filament dryer before printing.

Pro Tips

Test first: Print one protector before doing a full set. Tweak leg width ±0.5mm if you want it tighter or looser.

Perfect for: Dining chairs, kitchen chairs, office setups, patio furniture, or any furniture that needs floor protection. A simple everyday upgrade that extends the lifetime of both furniture and floors while creating a quieter, more comfortable home.
