Description

 I am happy to announce my new version 3.0 H2D internal Y splitter! Now even better with tpu and is Curved for an even smoother Filament path for the AMS . Using this Y splitter will  allow you to seamlessly feed filament through the TPU port on the back of the machine and through the filament buffer without removing or disconnecting  any PTFE tubing.

 I hope you like it.

 

Improvements include

  • Curved shape improves Filament path especially when loading and unloading Filament with longer PTFE tubes
  • Thicker walls for more durability 
  • Optimized designed support 
  • Refined sizing for more a seamless assembly  
  • No supports 

 

 

NOTE. After attaching the Y Splitter, test the full range of the toolhead’s motion. If the Y Splitter is positioned too close to a guide clips, it may interfere with the toolhead’s movement to different areas within the printer.

 

 

Assembly instructions. make shore that there is no plastic or bridging interfering with the filament path. after you get the connectors fitted use a piece of carbon or glass filed materiel and run it through the filament path to smooth out any blobs or seem lines, I like to put a site kink or bend in it the do a better job. Remember to remove any filament dust after this process.
