Valentine’s Secret Box is a romantic secret box, designed as a discreet mechanical puzzle to open.
It is ideal for offering a message, a piece of jewelry, or a small surprise for Valentine's Day or any special occasion.

The opening relies on a hidden internal mechanism, combining a movable double bottom, a ball, and magnets. Access to the content is neither obvious nor immediate, making the experience playful and memorable.

💝 This version is the little sister of my first secret box, sharing its spirit and mechanical principle, in a more compact format, specially designed for romantic and symbolic gifts.

🧩 Interchangeable panels & difficulty

As with the large version, this box uses interchangeable decorative panels.

Panels can be:

• permanently glued (simple solution),
• or mounted using magnets.

Mounting with magnets deliberately enhances the mysterious aspect of the puzzle:
the panels may appear to be elements to manipulate, diverting attention from the true internal mechanism.

This version also introduces an additional difficulty option related to the lid.
Depending on the chosen configuration, it may be necessary to remove all panels, especially the lid panel, to release a piece using a magnet integrated into the top panel, allowing the resolution to proceed.

👉 This option is entirely optional and allows you to adapt the puzzle's difficulty.

🧲 Required magnets

Mandatory magnets (main locking)

• Ø10 × 3 mm → 6 pieces
  • 2 in the internal mechanism
  • 4 under the lid

Optional magnets (panels & advanced difficulty)

• Ø10 × 3 mm → 1 piece
• Ø4 × 1 mm → 41 pieces
