Printing Instructions
This model is designed to be printed using the provided print profiles.
- No supports required
- Optimized for TPU
- Prints reliably without special tuning
For installation, the corner guard can be fixed using double-sided tape or adhesive glue, depending on the surface.
Customizing the model
The model can be customized using only two parameters:
- Edge_Height
- Cushion_Thickness
After setting the desired values, click Generate and download the model as a 3MF file (not STL).
All proportions and minimum limits are handled automatically to ensure the part always prints and functions correctly.
Preparing the custom model for printing (important)
After downloading the custom 3MF, follow this process in the slicer:
- Open any available print profile (one profile per size is provided).
- Delete the model already on the plate.
Click Add and load your custom 3MF file.

- The model will load as a single object containing two parts.
Right-click the model and select Split → To parts.

In Process, switch to Objects and select the second object.

- Go to Strength and apply the following changes:
Set Wall loops = 3

Disable Using infill instead of top and bottom surfaces.

Make sure Sparse infill pattern is set to Locked Zag, otherwise this option will not appear
After this, slice and print.
Experienced users can freely adjust the profile if desired — this workflow is simply the most reliable and straightforward method.

Unlike traditional solid or hollow corner guards, this model relies on a fully infill-driven internal geometry that creates a fabric-like TPU surface with controlled deformation zones. The result is a soft, tactile exterior that compresses smoothly under impact, reducing sharp force transfer instead of stopping it abruptly. It feels soft and compressible, but not like cheap foam — the structure deforms progressively while maintaining support.
The woven-style texture is not decorative — it is a structural feature. By using directional infill patterns and proportional wall relationships, the corner guard behaves more like a dense textile than a rigid plastic part, distributing impact instead of simply resisting it, offering improved shock absorption, reduced rebound, and a quieter, more forgiving contact.
Designed specifically for TPU and flexible filaments, this corner protector adapts naturally to furniture edges, cabinets, tables, desks, shelves, and wooden panels, making it ideal for homes, offices, workshops, and child-safe environments. Its soft outer surface helps prevent injuries while also protecting furniture corners from dents, chipping, and long-term wear.
The model is fully parametric and built with internal constraints to maintain functional proportions at all sizes. Parameter limits and conditional geometry ensure that every generated version remains mechanically coherent, preventing invalid combinations that could compromise softness, fit, or performance.
