This is a custom-designed insert box for the OEM armrest of the Volkswagen Golf MK4 (and VW Bora/Jetta MK4). It allows you to neatly install 4 extra switches inside the armrest, keeping your dashboard clean and maintaining a "stealth" look.
Perfect for controlling aftermarket accessories like ambient lighting, subwoofers, garage door openers, or air ride systems.
Features:
Capacity: Slots for 4 switches.
Mounting: Securely fixed with 2 screws (e.g., self-tapping screws), ensuring the panel stays in place when operating the switches.
Fitment: Designed to match the internal contours of the factory armrest.
Printing Recommendations: Since car interiors can get very hot in the summer, it is highly recommended to use PETG, ABS, or ASA filament. Standard PLA might warp or melt in the heat.
(However, I printed mine in PLA as a test over a year ago, and it has been perfect ever since, as it is not exposed to direct sunlight.)
