Description

Introduction

This model is a simple multicolor test model, generated by voronoi-cell tessellation of the 3DBenchy. Initially, I made this model (and the code to create it), to shorten the waiting time for INDX and to have a multicolor benchmark readily available once INDX is out.

However, I liked the code so much, that I decided to publish it. Therefore, this model also serves as a poster-model for what the voronoi_mesh code can do.

The Voronoi Cell Benchy is available in two different tessellation version. One with 25 cells and one with 75 cells. Depicted here is the 75-cell version.

The Voronoi Tessellation Code

The Python code I wrote to create these voronoi-tesselated models is published on Github under a MIT license. This means, you are free to use it in any way, even commercially, without any further obligations. If you remix other people's models, please respect their license and attribute the original model!

Further information on how to use and install the code can be found on GitHub. Also feel free to drop me a message here on Makerworld if you need help with the code or if you ran into any issues.
