Description
Summary (this is an old model, check the new one!)
Hi!
My name is Gino Tubaro, and I'm the founder of Atomic Lab, and startup witch is developing an open platform called LIMBS (www.limbs.earth) This is a fixed prosthetic design. Why fixed? Because we can change the measures through our design program to make it fit easily in the stump.
This hand was printed for the #Manoton, where a group of attendees and volunteers assembled 20 prosthetics hands and give them free of charge to the users. With the support of Microsoft, United & Sodimac.
More information at www.aka.ms/manoton
This prosthesis is modular, means that if you want to take out the fingersholder and connect a support designed by it can be done quickly. Or if you want to take out the AtomicLabCover and put a crossbow, it's also allowed (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1657761)
Feel free to create your own modules and share them.
