Description
After losing Princess Peach in the wrong castle for the thousandth time, Mario succumbed to the Dark Side of the Star. Now, he leads an army of Elite Koopas (Storm-Koopas) to impose order in the galaxy by jumping on any rebel who crosses his path
Painting tips
So that it's not just "a black figure", play with the textures of your acrylic paints
- The Helmet and Armor: Use a gloss black or add a gloss varnish at the end. Vader's helmet is iconic for its reflections
- The Jumpsuit (Overalls): Paint it in a matte black or very dark gray to simulate fabric/leather, creating contrast with the shine of the armor
- The Gloves: Pure white, but with a soft gray wash on the seams to make them look like padded fabric
- Chest Panel: Mario's buttons can now be life support controls. Paint the rectangles in crimson red and bright blue
