Brio train base with classic pins

Design Concept

This is a completely redesigned version of my older model. It offers completely new options and improves the original features. Now there is no need to glue anything (except the magnet), it is more compact and easier to print. It is also safer because there is no risk of some parts falling off. This model is designed as a Brio train base featuring classic pins for compatibility with traditional building blocks and still with DUPLO bricks. It enhances creativity by allowing children to integrate building blocks with their train sets.

Purpose

The intended use is for constructing customizable, interactive trains that align seamlessly with standard Brio tracks, providing a dual-play experience with train tracks and building blocks.

Printing Tips

For optimal results, use PETG or ABS with a layer height of 0.2 mm. Support material may be necessary for the complex pin structures.

Assembly Instructions

To assemble, simply press the wheels and axles into the base. Ensure all wheels rotate smoothly. Assemble by attaching block structures to the pins, enhancing stability and creativity.
