Why This Mount

The factory junction box works, but it adds unnecessary bulk. This bracket keeps the profile tight to the wall while still providing a secure and stable mounting solution.

It was specifically designed for installations where Ethernet CAT cabling exits directly from the wall, but cutting a large recessed opening is not practical or permitted.

This makes it ideal for:

Installation

Installation is straightforward:

  1. Insert the UniFi in-wall mount into the printed bracket.
  2. Hook the top of the G6 Reader Pro into place.
  3. Press downward to lock it securely.

The reader mounts firmly while maintaining proper alignment and a professional appearance.
