Thaumatrope – An Optical Toy for Exploring Animation
This thaumatrope is a classic optical toy that demonstrates the principle of persistence of vision, one of the key foundations of animation and film. When the disc spins, two separate images visually merge into one, creating a simple but magical illusion that never fails to impress.
The model is designed as a hands-on educational toy, perfect for learning about:

- cut out
- glue onto the blank disc

Assembly
The design allows you to easily swap the discs, making experimentation quick and simple. No tools are required.
