Description
This self-designed mount was created for space-saving storage of our road bikes.
The flanges are high enough so that the tires, in case of pressure loss, do not easily twist away and cause the bicycle to buckle.
I deliberately placed the model on the plate so that the shear forces act against the direction of the layer structure.
Additionally, there is a backplate for the rear wheel to prevent marks on the wall.
The 3D print was deliberately carried out with 30% infill, as high rigidity is not required for this application. The model was printed with a layer height of 0.20 mm, which represents a good compromise between print quality and print time.
