Mace Medieval – Twisted Haft (High Stability)

This medieval mace combines a massive appearance with high structural integrity. With an overall length of 67 cm, the model is an impressive display piece. As with the axe version, the twisted shaft (“Twisted Haft”) is printed in an angled orientation to optimize layer adhesion and significantly increase load-bearing capacity

Technical Details & Print Recommendations:

• Number of parts: 4 main components (Mace head, shaft, handle part 1 & 2).
• Walls & Infill (Stable Version):
  • Shaft: 5 walls / 25% infill (Mandatory for the stability of the long lever).
  • Handle (Handle 1 & 2): 4 walls / 25% infill.
  • Mace head: 3 walls / 12% infill.
• Decorative Version: Additionally, a .3mf with reduced values (3 walls / 12% infill) is available for pure display purposes.

• Infill Pattern: Gyroid (recommended for all parts).

   

• Support Management:
  • Shaft: Requires standard supports (Normal) along its entire length due to the angled printing position.
  • Mace head: The design is optimized so that the head can be printed completely without supports.
• Important note on orientation: The orientation saved in the .3mf should not be changed to guarantee an optimal print result (especially for the A1).

Color design & AMS: The handle is designed for a two-color look (silver/brown) to simulate the feel of a leather- or wood-wrapped handle with metal fittings. The file contains both an AMS and a No-AMS version of the handle.

Assembly: The components are precisely manufactured. For permanent fixation of the four components, the use of high-quality super glue or plastic glue is required.
