GBU-24 Paveway III Laser-Guided Bomb – Scale 1:48
This model represents the GBU-24 Paveway III in 1:48 scale and was developed as a detailed addition for modern jet models It is ideal for displaying realistic precision weaponry and complements existing loadouts with one of the best-known laser-guided bombs of modern fighter aircraft
The characteristic design of the GBU-24, with its elongated shape, distinctive fins, and typical Paveway sensor section, was implemented as faithfully as possible At the same time, the model was designed to be reliably produced on common FDM 3D printers and offer a stable structure
Applications
The GBU-24 is particularly suitable for modern precision strike and ground attack configurations In combination with targeting pods such as the ATFLIR Pod, realistic laser-guided deployment configurations can be displayed
It pairs particularly well with modern jets like the F/A-18 Super Hornet or the A-10 and complements corresponding models with an authentic air-to-ground loadout
Compatibility
The model was designed to blend harmoniously with the style of COBI aircraft in 1:48 scale and can be flexibly combined with other weapon elements

The GBU-24 belongs to the Paveway III series of laser-guided bombs and was specifically developed for precise attacks on heavily protected targets Due to its distinctive design and large fins, it is one of the most recognized precision weapons of modern NATO air forces
Development
This model was independently developed and then specifically optimized for 3D printing The focus was on good printability, stable construction, and the most realistic possible implementation in 1:48 scale
