- Black: Used for the main body of the gloves and boots, as well as detail shadows on the costume.
- Silver-gray: Used as the base color for hair, then highlighted with bright white to add depth.
- Skin Tone: Used for exposed skin parts such as the face and neck; remember to use shadow colors to enhance three-dimensionality.
Special effect colors
- Fluorescent Blue/Transparent Blue: Used on the circular decorative pieces on the chest and knees to simulate the glowing effect of an energy core.
- Matte protective coating: Final overall spray to soften colors and protect the paint from scratches.
🎨 Main coloring instructions:
1. Skin base coat: Spray light skin tone on exposed skin areas like the face and neck; after drying, use a darker skin tone to add shadows in areas like the eye sockets, base of the nose, and jawline to enhance three-dimensionality.
2. Hair coloring: First, spray a layer of silver-gray as the base, then use white to highlight the hair tips and shiny areas, finally use a very dark gray to outline the hair texture.
3. Main costume colors:
- White outer robe: First, spray a white primer; after it dries, use light gray to create shadows in folds and seams to give the fabric a draped feel.
- Dark blue lining: Spray navy blue on the inner layer of the costume and the cape lining, using a darker blue at the edges for shadow transitions.
- Pants: Similar to the outer robe, use white as a base, then use light gray for shadows at the seams and knees.
4. Gloves and boots: Spray the main body black, outline edges and details with gold to create a metallic trim effect.
✨ Details and accents
1. Gold decorations: Spray metallic gold on the shoulder armor, belt buckle, collar and cuff trim, as well as decorative lines on the boots; spray steadily to avoid color overflow.
2. Glowing parts: On the circular decorations on the chest and knees, first spray a layer of light blue base, then after it dries, cover with a layer of fluorescent blue or transparent blue to simulate the glowing effect of an energy core.
3. Fan coloring: Spray the fan frame gold, use white as the base for the feather parts, then use light gray to create feather texture and shadows.
4. Cape treatment: For the white outer layer of the cape, use light gray for fold shadows; for the blue inner layer, use a darker blue for a gradient to make the cape appear more flowing.
🔚 Finishing stage
Overall matte finish: After all colors are dry, spray a layer of matte protective coating over the entire piece to soften the colors and protect the paint from scratches.

💡 Tips
- If you are a beginner, it is recommended to start with Mr. Hobby's water-based paints (Mr. Color), which are less toxic, easy to clean, and suitable for hand painting or brush painting details.
- If you are aiming for metallic gold and silver, Mr. Hobby's "Star Bright" series (C113, C112) will provide brighter and finer results.
- For glowing parts, after spraying the base color, lightly spray another layer of transparent blue or fluorescent blue to simulate an energetic glow.
