Description
This replaces HPI part no.108717.
It is a tighter fit for the gear cover and much more rigid than the original. There is also a slot for the lug on the cover to slot into so it can't be pushed back into the spur gear.
The retaining pins are replaced with some M5 bolts.
To clarify, the hole in the cover, shown in the last picture, is because the pinion had come loose, not because the cover sits differently.
