This sculpted bust depicts a war-torn Crusader, forged in violence and unbroken by it. His armor is ripped, gouged, and scarred—marked by blades, impacts, and the chaos of countless battles. The great helm stands battered yet upright, its surface bearing the history of every blow endured and survived.
The iconic Templar cross remains boldly etched across the chest and shoulders, torn but unmistakable—a symbol not of purity, but of unwavering conviction carried through fire and bloodshed. Deep cuts and fractured edges tear through the armor, while layered chainmail and heavy pauldrons reinforce the sense of brutal endurance rather than ceremonial display.
Rendered in a classical bust format, the piece balances raw aggression with disciplined structure. Printed here in a deep matte finish, the sculpt emphasizes torn metal, surface damage, and sharp textures, making it especially striking as a monochrome display or as a foundation for heavy weathering, burnished steel, or battle-darkened finishes.
✨ Well suited for:
- Dark medieval and crusader collections
- Brutal historical or fantasy displays
- Painters focused on heavy weathering and battle damage
- Centerpiece shelf or diorama display
🛠 Design Highlights:
- Clean, print-ready geometry
- Aggressive battle damage and torn armor surfaces
- Deeply etched crosses and layered textures
- Strong, imposing bust proportions
- Integrated pedestal base for stability
Please note: chains in this model are likely to break off, however, I left them in the design because if you manage to not break them, SUPER awesome, and if you do … it tracks with the design, and makes it uniquely worn without affecting the outcome..
This model was created to represent the Crusader not as a symbol of ceremony, but as a survivor of war—scarred, resolute, and unyielding. Whether displayed alone or alongside other Templar pieces, this war-torn figure is meant to command attention and embody the violent glory of the battlefield.
