Description

Boost Me (for free)

This is a simple, lightweight protective ring designed for backcountry hikers who store their 100g camping gas canisters inside Titanium pots (like the Toaks 750ml or similar).

Standard steel gas canisters are prone to rusting at the bottom rim when exposed to moisture. When stored inside a titanium pot, this rust transfers to the pot's interior, creating stains that are incredibly difficult to clean. This ring snaps onto the base of any standard 100g canister to create a barrier, ensuring your expensive titanium gear stays pristine and rust-free.

  • Compatibility: Standard 100g Isobutane/Propane fuel canisters.
  • Function: Prevents metal-to-metal contact between the steel canister rim and the pot interior.
  • Lightweight: Minimal impact on your base weight.
  • Design: Low-profile to ensure the canister and ring still fit comfortably inside your cookset.

Print Recommendations

  • Material: TPU is highly recommended for a flexible, "snap-on" fit that won't crack, though PETG will work if your tolerances are dialed in.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm is sufficient.
  • Infill: 100% (it's thin enough that it will be solid anyway).
