Sunlu filament number and type

To optimize material management and prevent errors during the printing process, I designed a system of interchangeable identification tags. This solution allows for immediate and unique visualization of the filament type currently loaded inside the dryer (dry box).

Project Features:

• Modularity: The tags can be quickly replaced according to the material in use (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.).
• Attachment Systems: * Magnetic: The original design includes the integration of two magnets for a secure hold and smooth replacement.
  • Adhesive: Alternatively, the flat rear geometry allows for application via double-sided tape or technical tape.
• Operational Efficiency: Drastically reduces the risk of starting prints with incorrect thermal profiles due to an oversight of the loaded material.
• Magnets used: 8 x 2 mm diameter (a soldering iron was used to insert them into the holes).
