Description
Slim External Feeder for Stingless Bees (Uruçu)
3D model of a slim external feeder, developed for stingless bee (Uruçu) hives, focusing on safe, efficient, and easy-to-manage supplementary feeding, without the need to open the hive
The project was carefully designed to maximize the contact area of the bees with the food, utilizing an upper surface with multiple reliefs/support points. This geometry allows the bees to feed at different points of the feeder, reducing competition, better distributing access, and minimizing the risk of drowning
The slim format favors external installation, maintaining a compact, discreet, and functional profile, ideal for continuous use in the meliponary
This file is intended exclusively for 3D printing, available in 3MF format, already configured for direct use in the slicer. The design prioritizes geometric simplicity, structural stability, and ease of printing, even on home printers
