Description
For the pleasure of all Star Wars fans, here is a detailed version of the saga's BB-8 droid, remixed from Karraker's 'puzzle' profile
This version features numerous details to most faithfully resemble the original model from the production company LucasFilms
Model on its stand: 23cm
I took care to optimize the droid's body so that there is NO support
An adapted base with the droid BB-8's name in relief
The head can rotate freely (assembly instructions in the PDF below - the red colored part in the assembly diagram named ‘Support rotatif.stl' MUST NOT BE GLUED)
The trim parts are provided with details faithful to the original model
All round parts have been configured with adaptive layers for a very smooth structure
Print speeds are adapted in the profiles to highlight the smallest details
Filament waste management has been optimized

The model in the photo was printed on Bambu Lab A1 in PLA with a 0.16mm layer height
