I printed this with default settings on a much inferior printer. You can increase the support spacing to save filament if desired. You can also switch to Tree supports but it's an extra hour of print time to save less than 20grams of filament.

0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill

This reworked profile includes several improvements:<ul><li>Bigger mask: with a height of 240mm that exploit almost all of the space available on the print plate</li><li>Better orientation: this angle limits the amount of top surfaces visible on the model, providing a better final quality, especially if you are using silk/metallic filament. This also limits the amount of support needed while not sacrifing print stability</li><li>Seams on the back: no front seams means a smoother front finish</li><li>Stronger: 3 walls and gyroid infills. The triple wall also helps with stability and adhesion while printing, while the gyroid pattern is usually best than the grid one. You can probably play with the infill % to use less filament.</li></ul>Thanks to the original designer for this amazing model!

Bigger, better orientation and quality

The Mask of the Father from Dark Souls. This is a decorative version of the model sculpted in Zbrush by artist Zimk and optimized by 3D printing by me. Also uploaded on printables. I modeled and printed this a long time ago on a luzbot mini. If you have any issues with this model or have any requests regarding it you can message me at @ts.makers on instagram. I will optimize and maybe make a wearable version of this mask if the desire is there. You can glue a magnet or hook to the back of it to put on your fridge or hang on the wall. Shrink it down to 25% and turn it to a button. Use your imagination.
