Description

Fill, Dry, Swap: The Slim Desiccant Cartridge

Most DIY cereal box dryboxes have a common flaw: loose desiccant or baskets built into the base. Managing loose beads at the bottom of a container is messy, makes it difficult to swap spools, and risks spills during filament changes. 

 

I wanted a solution that felt like a part of the system, not an afterthought. This slim desiccant cartridge allows you to pre load, use and swap desiccanty easily. It's slim design fits between the side walls of 68mm spools and nests into small spaces. The slotted vent design allows for quick and consistent printing while allowing 50% air permeability, much more than those hole or hex designs.

 

When printing these in PET-G or high temp filaments, you can dry the desiccant right in the cartridge, saving you the time and the mess from refilling baskets.
