Description
This base plate for the Makita DRT50 edge trimmer (or related devices) allows for precise work and better guidance of the hand router, in contrast to the round original base plate. The base plate can be mounted with the router's original screws. A slightly enlarged bore allows a large 45° edge router bit (8 mm shank) to be mounted.
I initially printed my base plate from PLA Matte. So far, some signs of wear are visible, but the function is still perfectly fine after several projects.
