First of all, a big compliment to Darbjeep00 for the great models of nautical signs / buoys!

I had been looking for an original float for my pool thermometer for a long time and stumbled upon this model. It was a bit too big for me, so I simply scaled it down to 80%. For use in the pool, I deactivated the fuzzy skin effect due to improved hygiene.
Now, all that was needed was a bottom part so that a thermometer could be attached to the buoy and it would upright itself in the water with its weight. The printed bottom part is simply glued to the buoy with superglue.

I used PLA as the material, which is not very durable, but the buoy has lasted for 2 years now…
