Description

My inspiration came from this project:
https://community.home-assistant.io/t/diy-zigbee-rain-gauge/255379  and the holder made by ekainz, but I wanted to make it printable without supports and using as little filament as possible.

The fixture plate and the aqara enclosure must be carefully separated so the enclosure can slide in the opening of the fixture plate. (I have added separate stl files as well, if the print-in-place is too hard to disassemble).

The aqara enclosure positions itself in the fixture plate, when the plate has been placed in the enclosure and the top cover is clicked in place.

To protect the Aqara sensor from moisture, I have wrapped it in cling film.
Avoid unwanted inhabitants by closing the now obsolete wire hole in the rain gauge enclosure, using a couple of drops of CA glue gel or similar. Earwigs had entered the enclosure when I inspected it after a couple of days operation.

Fits this Misol rain gauge:
found here: https://aliexpress.com/item/2026877912.html
or here: https://www.amazon.com/MISOL-Spare-weather-station-measure/dp/B00QDMBXUA

and this Aqara sensor: https://www.aqara.com/en/product/door-and-window-sensor/
which can easily be found.
