Vintage Gothic Pen Holder Storage Tray

Inspired by medieval church architecture, this vintage Gothic pen holder transforms iconic elements like Gothic pointed arches, rose windows, and openwork floral motifs into a practical desktop stationery organizer. The entire piece is crafted using an integrated molding process, with the main body made from resin or 3D printing material featuring a matte, stone-like texture. The color palette chosen is an aged grey-green, mimicking the historical feel of weathered stone.

The pen holder is composed of two parts: a cylindrical pen barrel and a rectangular tray. The outer wall of the pen barrel replicates the double-tiered pointed arch windows of Gothic cathedrals, with internal openwork patterns that ensure a lightweight structure while subtly revealing the pens inside. The tray's edges are adorned with delicate spired fences and scrolling vine patterns, which not only prevent stationery from sliding off but also enhance the overall sense of ritual.

Functionally, the pen barrel can accommodate writing instruments such as fountain pens and quill pens, while the tray can hold sticky notes, stamps, or ink bottles. The core of the design lies in the "unity of function and narrative": when a quill pen is inserted into the barrel, it evokes the scene of medieval monks transcribing scriptures, imbuing everyday writing with a vintage sense of ritual.
