Description

I ran out of clamps for hanging lighting fixtures, and figured I'd make one which is also easy to print. It's about 100g filament at the 0.2mm strength setting, and plenty strong to hold light weight fixtures. It can be printed without AMS and with minimal support. I have not tested when it fails or breaks, so that's up to your own judgement. I mainly use it for small moving heads and flat par fixtures, which are between 1-5 kg. Its made in 4 parts, to make it easy to print, as well as easy to assemble.
I do not suggest you hang your biggest and most expensive fixtures in any kind of 3d printed clamp - just to get that out of the way.

I've printed mine in PETG for slightly better heat resistance - and I'd probably use ABS or PA-CF for more heavvyduty applications. Maybe i'll upload some profiles for that at a later stage.

You need M8 bolts and nuts to put it together.

2 M8 x 60mm

1 M8 x 50mm

1 M8 x 30mm (depending on how long you want it to stick out for your fixture to mount nicely.)

4 M8 Nuts
