Description
This is the crest of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFC Brunssum), and each element has a specific meaning.
Overall shield
- The green shield shows that JFC Brunssum is a multi‑service headquarters, representing land, air, and maritime forces together.
Central tower and sword
- The silver tower comes from the historical tower of Aachen, once Charlemagne’s capital, and stands for the Alliance’s defensive spirit and origins.
