This model of twin pavilions with a covered walkway is a miniature essence of classical Chinese garden architecture, perfectly showcasing the elegance and exquisite craftsmanship of Jiangnan gardens
The main body consists of two octagonal pavilions with pointed roofs. The treasure top decorations on the pavilion roofs and the gradually receding eaves perfectly replicate the classic style of ancient Chinese pavilions. The covered walkway connects the two pavilions with a curved bridge, featuring clear details in the railings and columns, recreating the landscaping logic of "winding paths leading to secluded spots" found in gardens. Made from a dark brown 3D printed material, the surface retains the texture of the printing process. Meanwhile, the hollowed-out parts of the pavilion columns and walkway railings, along with the precise and clean joints, highlight the architectural layers and three-dimensionality, showcasing the mortise and tenon charm of Chinese timber structures in a small space. It can serve as a core component for aquascaping in planted tanks or miniature garden sandboxes, and when paired with rockeries, water features, and green plants, it can create the graceful ambiance of Jiangnan gardens. It can also be used as a Chinese-style desk ornament, serving as a miniature display medium for traditional architectural aesthetics.
