Description

External spool holder designed to feed filament directly into the extruder. It was created mainly for flexible filaments (TPU) to reduce friction and issues caused by long filament paths, and to bypass all PTFE tubes.

The project includes several print versions: PLA, PETG (first profile), and stronger one dedicated 1 kg spool version (second profile). Choose the variant that best fits your material, spool weight, and preferences. The 1 kg spool version uses a stronger holder design for better support and stability with heavier spools.

For the 1 kg spool version, PETG or a stronger material is recommended for better durability and long-term reliability.

The holder requires no screws and no complicated assembly: just snap it into place, and installation takes about 2 seconds.

If you print with TPU — and not only TPU — this holder simplifies filament feeding and helps achieve a more stable, reliable feed straight into the extruder.

Please make sure to select the correct variant before printing.
