Snap-Fit Drag Chain | Universal Cable Management
Print Profile(2)

Description
This is a modular, snap-fit cable drag chain designed for 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters. The design focuses on mechanical reliability and ease of maintenance. Unlike integrated chains, these links can be opened or snapped together at any point, allowing you to add or remove wires without de-soldering your electronics.
- Bend Radius: Optimized to prevent wire fatigue while maintaining a compact footprint.
- Joint Style: Reinforced snap-pin connectors designed for high-cycle movement.
- Mounting: Includes end-links for standard 2020 extrusion mounting and flat-surface screw mounting.
For short cables PLA with 2 wall loops and 15% infill is perfect
For longer ½ meters length PETG with 3 wall loops and 30% infill is recomanded
Assembly Guide
- Print the required number of middle links for your axis length.
- Test the fit of two links first to calibrate your flow rate.
- Snap the links together by applying even pressure to the pivot points.
- Secure the end terminals using M3 or M4 hardware (depending on your machine).
