Chemex Collar/Grip
Print Profile(1)

Description
These are a replacement for the bamboo collar/grips that come with the Chemex pour-over coffee brewer. This is made to fit the 8 cup Chemex model. I only own the 8 cup, but from what I can tell visually online, as well as trying another model I found for the 6 cup, they are different (so if you don't have an 8 cup – no guarantees, YMMV). This is an original model I made myself via measurements and trial and error. I did make it a little taller than the bamboo ones for a better grip and more protection for larger hands.
I printed this on my P2S with ABS-GF, and I love the matte and even finish that produced. I do recommend using a filament that is more heat resistant than PETG (and certainly PLA). I've measured 85 C around the grip at the end of brewing, so ideally you're good up to around 100 C, which it should logically never exceed.
I've not needed any supports for this model, and it stuck to my textured PEI plate without glue (buildplate temp of 100 C).
This is my first Makerworld upload – I hope some of you find it useful. Cheers!
