Stop guessing and start pressing! This jig helps determine the perfect fit for your magnets.
Whether you want a loose drop-in fit or a permanent, snug press-fit, this template removes the trial-and-error from your design process.

Every 3D printer and filament brand behaves differently. A 10mm hole on a well-tuned Bambu Lab X1C might be slightly tighter or looser than on a modified Ender 3, and PETG often flows differently than PLA.

This jig allows you to test specific magnet sizes against a range of variations (up to +0.5mm) so you can find the exact offset needed for your specific setup.

Every hole features a 2mm hole on the bottom. If a magnet gets stuck or you want to reuse it, just poke it out with a 2mm hex key.

How to Use

  1. Print the jig using your favorite filament.
  2. Take your magnet and try fitting it into the "0" hole for its size.
  3. If it’s too tight, move up the scale (+0.1mm, +2mm, etc.) until you find the fit you like.
  4. Pro Tip: Write the filament type and printer name on the back of the jig for future reference!
