Description
This is an universal action camera mount thumbscrew for GoPro Hero, DJI Action, Insta360 and other similar sport cameras.
It uses a M5 40mm long button head bolt and M5 nut.
Different grip versions
- SHORT - this is the shortest, smallest and thinnest screw of all
- MEDIUM - 5mm longer and a bit thicker* grip than SHORT
- LONG - 5mm longer than MEDIUM and the same diameter, 10mm longer than SHORT
The different lengths in models is how much thead is left when the part is assembled. The LONG 20.5mm will have as much thread to use as SHORT 20.5mm.
Choose the length you like from the files or use my print profile, choosing the correct plate :)
*two of the longer screw grips had to be thicker to be able to fit bolt and remain strength
Printing tips
- use strong filament (as PET-G)
- 0.2mm layer height
- lay on the biggest flat side
- preferably use support inside the bolt cavity
- 5 perimeter walls
- 5 top and bottom surfaces
- 70% gyroid infill
Assembly instuctions
1. Insert the M5 nut on the thinner side. 
2. Insert the M5 x 40 bolt from the other side. 
3. Use an Allen / hex key to tighten the parts together as far as you can.
