Boost Me (for free)
Your boost really helps me to keep designing free models for everyone like this!
"QF Armor Base" frame was good enough for bulky armors but it was way to bulky and take too much time to print.
So I decided to make slim one with quick printing time.
The challenge was designing enough joint strength for slim and small joints.
[UPDATE]
2026-FEB-21: Made every joints stiffer and stronger.
[Frequently asked Questions and Issues]
Print doesn't stick to the build plate.
→ It's most likely because of the oily build plate. Please clean your bed with warm water and a dish soap.
→ It could also happen because of Z offset, wet filament.
→ Try adhesive glue.
What material does it use?
→ I printed in PLA. but if you are going to play with it, PETG is much better option.
- If you have other issues, please leave a comment. (If possible, please attach the photo of issue as it helps me to get more info of the issue.)
Assembly itself is pretty straight forward.
Printing layout is already set for quick assembly (just like image below)
Start from red to yellow arrows
(I think this layout based quick assembly should work for most people, but it's experimental. Please comment me if you have any issue assembling it.)
