Parametric Spacer, Standoff & Washer Generator

This is a simple parametric generator for creating custom spacers, standoffs and washers exactly to your needs.

You can easily adjust all key dimensions and generate parts in virtually any size, without having to redesign the model every time.

The attached print profile contains the exact settings I personally use for printing this type of functional parts, optimized for strength, dimensional accuracy and clean results.

This model is meant to be practical and straightforward. No unnecessary complexity, just a fast and reliable way to generate common hardware parts when standard sizes are not enough.

Params

• Inner Diameter: Diameter of the inner hole. Default value is set for an M4 screw (4.5 mm clearance), but you can adjust it to any size you need.
• Wall Thickness: Thickness of the wall around the inner hole. The total outer diameter is calculated as: inner diameter + 2 × wall thickness
  Increasing this value improves strength and bed adhesion.
• Height:  Total height of the spacer or standoff. Defines the distance between mounted parts.

Important note

If you generate very small spacers, the contact area with the build plate may be limited and there is a risk of the part detaching during printing.
Make sure your build plate is clean. If needed, wash it with warm water and dish soap. You can also use glue, or as a last resort enable a brim.
