### Overview
A fully parametric adapter that connects any two cylindrical, oval, or rectangular pipes, tubes, hoses, or ducts. Designed for vacuum cleaners, leaf blowers, shop vacs, HVAC ducts, dust collection systems, 3D printer enclosure ventilation, and any other application where you need to join mismatched fittings.

### How It Works
1. **Measure your tubes** — use calipers for the inner diameter (for slip fit) or outer diameter (for push fit)
2. **Open the Customizer** on MakerWorld or in OpenSCAD
3. **Set Side A and Side B** profiles and dimensions
4. **Adjust body settings** — total height, wall thickness, tolerance
5. **Add a bend** if needed (0–90° with adjustable radius)
6. **Enable collars and flanges** as needed
7. **Export STL and print!**
### Dimension Convention
All diameter/width/height values refer to the **internal measurement** — the size of the tube you want to connect. Wall thickness is added outward. For slip fit, a small clearance (tolerance/2) is added to the cavity. For push fit, the adapter's outer dimension is reduced by tolerance/2.

### Print Settings
- **Material**: PLA, PETG, or ABS (PETG recommended for vacuum use)
- **Layer height**: 0.2mm
- **Infill**: 15–20% (walls provide most of the strength)
- **Supports**: Not needed — prints vertically without overhangs
- **Orientation**: Print standing up (collar A at bottom)
- **Print time**: 30–90 min depending on size and resolution
### Tips
- Start with `print_tolerance = 0.2mm` and adjust if too tight or loose
- For airtight seals, use electrical tape or silicone around the joint
- PETG has slight flex, making slip fits more forgiving
- For large adapters (>80mm), increase wall thickness to 3mm+
- The bend uses `rotate_extrude` — set `segments` to 128 for smoother curves
- If the console shows a WARNING about height, increase `total_height` or reduce `bend_radius`
