Paper & Plastic Tape Dispenser for Large Rolls

Universal Tape Dispenser

This project presents a functional tape dispenser designed for large tape rolls. The model was created with smooth and comfortable tape dispensing in mind, making it suitable for everyday tasks such as packaging, workshop use, office work, and gift wrapping.

The construction allows both long and very short pieces of tape to be torn off easily, improving overall comfort and ergonomics.

Key Features

• Compatible with large rolls – The dispenser supports rolls with an inner diameter of approximately 75 mm and tape widths up to 50 mm.
• Supports different tape types – The model is suitable for both paper tape and plastic tape.
• High capacity design – The feeder shape accommodates rolls with lengths of up to 100 meters.
• Spring loaded core mechanism – The core automatically adapts to the inner diameter of the roll, stabilizing the tape and preventing unwanted movement.
• Stable tape guidance – The roll remains securely positioned, ensuring smooth and controlled unwinding.
• Interchangeable blade system – The dispenser allows easy blade replacement depending on the tape type.
• Blade for paper tape – The multi tooth blade enables fast and clean tearing of paper tape.
• Blade for plastic tape – The single tooth blade provides precise cutting of plastic tape.
• Clean and precise cutting – The blade design ensures accurate tearing without pulling or damaging the tape.
• Convenient dispensing – The dispenser makes it easy to tear off small pieces of tape, which is especially useful for gift wrapping and decorative tasks.
• Durable construction – The model is designed for stability and long term use.

Additional Base Version

I have added an alternative base model with a length of 175 mm, allowing the part to be printed on smaller 3D printers with a build plate depth of 180 mm.

The original base version has a length of 200 mm. Both versions are fully compatible with the rest of the model, so you can choose the one that fits your printer.
