Description
Raspberry Pi 4 Case - Optimized for Noctua 60mm Fan
Most Pi cases use tiny, noisy fans. I designed this enclosure specifically to fit a 60x60x25mm fan (specifically the Noctua NF-A6x25 5V) to ensure maximum cooling while keeping the case as compact as possible. This is a unique, self-designed solution for silent and powerful cooling.
Key Features & Hardware:
- Board Mounting: The Raspberry Pi 4 is secured to the bottom of the case using 4x M3 screws and 4x M3 nuts.
- Top Cover: The lid is secured using 4x M4 heat-set inserts and 4x M4 screws for maximum durability.
- Fan: Use the 5V version (Noctua NF-A6x25 5V) to run directly from the Pi's GPIO pins.
- Wiring: Please refer to the attached pinout diagram for the correct connection (5V and GND).
- Material: Tested with PLA, but PETG also works.
Note: The photos show my original print from an Ender 5 Pro, but the included .3mf file is fully optimized for the Bambu Lab P2S with correct orientations and settings.
Update [28.2.2026]: Raspberry Pi 5 Support Added!
I have added a new bottom part specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi 5.
- Changes: Modified port cutouts and removed the 3.5mm jack hole to match the Pi 5 layout.
- Compatibility: Use the original top part from the Pi 4 model; it fits perfectly with the new Pi 5 bottom.
- Precision: Designed using a high-quality 3D scan of the Pi 5 board for accurate alignment.
Note: I don't own a Pi 5 yet, but the model is based on precise scan data, just like my Pi 4 version.
